In my spare time, I play in the world of web design and development. Not much for shallow waters, I like to jump in the deep end on web projects and see where I end up.

Common Ground: While You Were Gone
This project website was the first I built for The Virginian-Pilot outside of the standard wrapper. As part of a recurring weekly series, photojournalist Amanda Lucier documented the lives of military families coping with a deployed loved one. For the site, I used JavaScript and jQuery in ways I haven’t before for The Pilot.
